Nothing beats a handheld console though. The keyboard, in as much as it has a lot of keys to boot, doesn’t have the same feel when you have the control in your hands. You wrap your fingers around it and work it out. It’s something to hold unto, something natural.

When you visit the local arcade, you will still see people lining up to get their turn on the big screen with the classic controls. This is due to the fact that the experience is still different when you slam those keys and seem to rip off the joystick to your heart’s content. After all, the machine isn’t yours so these parts expect to get this kind of treatment. With your own PC, you will probably be more careful than just slamming it.
